Hi-5

Brought my daughter to watch Hi-5 today. Tickets were about $40 each after UOB discount so for me, wife + daughter it added up to more then $120. Well, I guess the easiest way to make money nowadays is through the kids In fact, the emptiest section in the hall was the cheapest one right at the back. Kids have it good these days…did I really just say that? Aw geeze… suddenly realised how old I’ve gotten.
In any case, she enjoyed herself very much as it was a pretty interactive show, kids are encouraged to stand up and dance and they teach them the dance steps as well. I guess thats what matters the most.
P.S. They were selling cardboard wavey hands and balloons @ $15 each; Jup Jup (sp?) dolls @ $45; programs @ $10 and t-shirts @ $30 (I think)… man.. cost more then the rock concerts.
