Btw, did I mention that spammers are lame? And stupid to boot?
I’ve turned on comment moderation cos of the commetn spam I was receiving (i.e. comments with links to porn, viagra etc etc in them).
So why are spammers stupid?
1. For goodness sake pick a blog with better reach if you want to do this
and
2. The comments won’t show up anyway so why bother?
Oh well.

I remember when I was growing up I didn’t particularly like having my photo taken. For one thing you didn’t know how it would turn out until a few days/weeks later and for another, you keep getting yelled at to smile more or smile less or whatever cos film was limited and nobody wanted to take 6-7 shots of the same thing “just to be sure”.
Now however, my daughter loves having her photo taken, simply because she knows that she can see herself in the LCD playback instantaneously. What this also means is that it’s impossible to catch her in a candid moment since she will insist on seeing her picture once she hears the shutter snap and she start posing after that. I wonder what will happen if I shoot her with a film camera

Ok. Apparently it didn’t take that long to make a decision, especially at the price offered. So now I’m a 20D user. 8.2megapix, 5 fps, 100-3200 ISO etc etc.
Look out for more photos. Yah right.

Just a case of selling and buying (eventually) so not many photos to post for a while although I still have the mju and S1 around.
Still contemplating what to get as a replacement. The 30D sounds nice but the 20Ds are reaching a really sweet price, especially the 2nd hand ones. Decisions decisions…

Not sure what my service provider was doing but it resulted in nearly a weeks downtime for all of my domains. In the end, I had to change my nameservers to the ones they used and they refused to tell me what changed (it couldn’t have been working magically for the last year with the wrong settings).
Anyway, I think I’m going to look for an alternative service provider. Anyone has any suggestions? Or maybe I should just buy a cheap 1U server and stick it into a data center somewhere.

According to some reliable sources (read: www.clubsnap.com), you can get the 20D at around S$17xx in Hong Kong now, probably due to the rumoured arrival of the new replacement model (35D? 30D? 40DD?)
The 350D is nice but a little small for my hands.. wondering if I should …..

So my wife was feeling sick yeterday and my folks were out which left me with the task of feeding Cordelia her dinner. Everythings going fine (surprisingly) until she needed to poop, so I brought her to the toilet and put her onto the throne.
And squatted down in front of her to hold her steady (she’s still too small to sit on it by herself)
… Waiting for the poop to drop
… and it did
… a huge huge specimen that couldn’t have come from a baby so small
… and smashed into the bottom of the bowl with horrifying force
…causing a tsunami like backwash
… that sent a splash of water into my face (and mouth).
Oh the horror!!!
